The 23-time Grand Slam singles victor is ramping up her return this week by playing in Indian Wells, her first WTA Tour event since she won the 2017 Australian Open. Here, at a venue that has not always been among her favourite places to play tennis - she won the title twice, in 1999 and 2001, before boycotting the event for several years because of racial harassment - she will have to prove she still has what it takes to produce her best under pressure on the Tour.
Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Arena will be showing the tennis live from Indian Wells, with coverage running from 10.30pm on Thursday to 6am on Friday. She ultimately made a decision to withdraw from the competition, but she is now a guarantee for Thursday's events. "Whether it's [being] a mom or playing tennis or doing my designing".
French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko said Serena s contribution to women s tennis can not be overstated.
Serena also admitted that her first five months of motherhood has been "amazing", as she says that being a parent comes "naturally" to her. "She is a very special and what she has done for women s tennis is huge".

"Obviously it is tough to get back even for a champion like her", Pliskova said Wednesday. "Unfortunately a lot of African-Americans and black people don't have the same experience that I've had".
"We will see in the first round". "Knowing that going in, and some doctor's not caring as much for us, it's heartbreaking". "So, I expect her to be at full flight". "I never questioned my return", she said a day before her comeback match against Kazakh Zarina Diyas in the World Tennis Tour. She returned in 2015 but had to pull out before her semi-final against Simona Halep with a knee problem.
Yet with all respect to the fine 23-year-old player from the Ukraine, she was probably not the main attraction for the packed MSG.
"Maybe in Indian Wells there will be some cobwebs, but I expect her to win in Miami", she said.
