Russell Westbrook Reflects on Teaming With Kevin Durant, James Harden

In their second meeting of the season, the Oklahoma City Thunder could not find an answer to the streaking Rockets. The Rockets have reeled off 16 straight wins and their last six have come against playoff teams. Russell Westbrook had 32 points, Carmelo Anthony pitched-in 23 points in a strong effort, and five OKC players reached double-figures in scoring.

The flurry came thanks to the hot shooting from Chris Paul who drained two big 3-pointers en route to his 25-point night that led the Rockets. This time, the Thunder must defend home court to get back in the win column.

Pelicans 121, Clippers 116: Anthony Davis recorded 41 points, 13 rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots and New Orleans won its ninth consecutive game with a narrow victory over host Los Angeles.

The Thunder just isn't as good as we hoped it would be or as good as the players believe they are. The Rockets are 34-3 when Harden and Paul have both played this season.

Among those who have played as many minutes, only one player in the NBA has a lower assist-to-pass percentage than Anthony * a href="*GE*1903" target="_blank" rel="noopener" *(3.5 percent) so far this season. It was a mixture for the Thunder as to why the giveaways racked up - some of it was playing with a slowed pace, attacking in isolation too much and some careless passing. Steven Adams 7 of 9.

They're also now only 19-18 against teams currently over.500.

Corey Brewer: If you expected Corey Brewer to see plenty of action against the Rockets, you were proven absolutely correct.

Dwight Howard scored 30 points for the Hornets, hitting 12 of 17 shots from the field. The Rockets got back into it by scoring in the paint on lobs over the top and floaters in the lane, and dominated the paint early.

The veteran set the mark with a three-pointer from the left wing in the first quarter.

"We're so good offensively that every single night, teams are going to throw different coverages at us", Harden said after the game (USNews). It showed during the mid-third quarter run. With just 87 points separating Miller and West on the list, it seems likely that Anthony should easily be able to make that leap before the end of the season.
