The Metropolitan Police confirmed to The Mirror.com that they were called at 8:52 p.m.to Ascalon Street following reports of a stabbing.

Elizabeth Hurley's 21-year-old model nephew was the victim of a "brutal" stabbing attack in London Thursday night.

The actress - who had been busy in the United States promoting the fourth season of her television show The Royals - has rushed back to the United Kingdom to be with her family.

"Another man, also believed to be aged 21, was also found suffering from stab wounds". Both were taken to the hospital and thankfully, "their conditions are described as not life-threatening or life-changing", according to police.

Thank you for all your messages.

The actress said it was an "appalling" time for their family and thanked fans for their support. A 21-year-old man was discovered with stab wounds to his back. "The police will be appealing for witnesses", she wrote.

Since 2013, Miles has modeled for reputable brands like Roberto Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana.

Miles is the son of Elizabeth's older sister Kate Curran, 54, and is close to his famous aunt and her son, Damian, 15.

A source told the Sun: "His family feared the worst".

It is believed the men were attacked by a group of men who jumped from a vehicle, assaulted them, and took off. Elizabeth has not commented on the incident, but she was photographed arriving at the Heathrow airport on March 9.

Hurley has previously shared Mr Miles' modelling photos, tweeting: "Here's my handsome nephew".
