The company posted to it's Twitter feed that they're working to restore service as quickly as possible.
And this years March Break just got even more stressful for those flying with Air Canada. "We're now experiencing an interruption at our customer contact centers and [our website]", the carrier said. A similar message was posted on the carrier's official Facebook page an hour later.
Employees of Pearson International airport in Toronto also confirmed that a glitch in the system of Air Canada to affect the flight schedule.
The disruption comes two weeks after the airline had a computer issue that disrupted web and mobile check-ins and call centre operations and temporarily delayed boarding on some flights.
The airport said flight AC8060 to Vancouver was cancelled due to a network outage.
The issues were resolved shortly after 2:00 p.m., but customers were left reeling from the technical meltdown.
