'Transformers,' 'Fifty Shades Darker' Top Razzie Award Nominations

Transformers: The Last Knight and Fifty Shades Darker are the top contenders to be named worst movie of 2017 at the upcoming Golden Raspberry Awards.

Lawrence is nominated in the category of Worst Actress for her performance in the film "Mother!". It's only the second time that an animated film has been nominated in the category; The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure in 2013 was the other film.

Fifty Shades Darker earned eight Razzie nods, while The Mummy picked up seven, and Baywatch and The Emoji Movie tied with four.

Leading the pack is Transformers: The Last Knight with nine nominations, including Worst Picture, Worst Director (Michael Bay), Worst Actor (Mark Wahlberg) and Worst Supporting Actor (Josh Duhamel and Anthony Hopkins).

That film is joined by Baywatch, The Emoji Movie, Fifty Shades Darker and The Mummy in a category no one will want to win. "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" won the Razzie for Worst Picture in 2009. 2 A Madea Halloween alongside Dakota, Katherine Heigl (Unforgettable), Jennifer Lawrence, (Mother!), and Emma Watson (The Circle).

Apart from the biggest offenders, the Razzies showed little mercy for reboots like Baywatch and The Mummy, and for the ongoing shenanigans of Tyler Perry and Johnny Depp in roles they've played for over a decade.

The full list of nominees, announced today, also includes Jennifer Lawrence, Russell Crowe and Javier Bardem.

The winners at the 38th edition of the spoof awards will be announced on 3 March (18) - the night before the annual Academy Awards.
