Nintendo Switch 'Yuzu' Emulator Announced By Citra 3DS Developers

The Nintendo Switch is created to be the ideal gaming machine for on-the-go consumers.

We'll be sure to bring more on the Switch's sales and games as we head into the second year this March. This was followed by a declaration that another group of hackers discovered a future-proof Nintendo Switch hack. Nintendo Italy also announced that the Switch has become the fastest selling console of all time in the region, which Nintendo Italy's general manager, Andrea Persegati, attributes to the platform's library of software that has really connected with Italian consumers. It'd seem to be a no-brainer to make Netflix compatible with any piece of technology that is capable of connecting to the Internet - but apparently not. "Stay tuned for more from the yuzu team!"

The Nintendo Switch game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can already be played on a PC because the game was also released on the Wii U, and there is already an emulator available for that game console.

After the angry furore that comment had caused, a Netflix spokesperson has today stepped in to explain: "We are still exploring the opportunity with Nintendo, but don't have definitive plans to share at this time". Unfortunately, its developers state on the website that they are actively working toward enabling the Nintendo Switch emulator to play commercial titles. It's already home to a wonderful library of indies and ports of popular games from the past few years, while Nintendo's first-party titles continue to bolster it.
