Harvey Weinstein is attacked in luxury resort restaurant

On Tuesday night, Harvey Weinstein was slapped in the face by a man at Elements Restaurant in Scottsdale. Speaking to TMZ, Steve said he approached Weinstein and said "You're such a piece of shit for what you did to these women", and then punched him in the face twice.

Steve, who admits he had "quite a bit to drink", told USA website TMZ the former Miramax boss rudely rejected the photo request. Weinstein reacts in surprise and momentarily starts to lose his footing, and the young man then begins unleashing a string of profanities, ordering Weinstein to leave. Weinstein opted not to call the police following the incident.

As he does so, the young man in background, whose right hand is touching Weinstein, gives the producer two quick backhanded slaps on the cheek with his left hand.

According to Raw Story, Steve was drunk. Weinstein did stumble, but way after he caught the hand to the face so it looked like he tripped more than anything.

Weinstein has been accused of sexual harassment and assault more than 82 women, including Hollywood actresses Rose McGowan, Asia Argento, Ashley Judd, Salma Hayek and more.

Reps for Weinstein told Page Six that Weinstein "is still OK and in good spirits" and that no police report was filed.

Harvey Weinstein is apparently somewhere in Arizona in rehab for sex addiction (collective sigh on three) and went out for dinner in Scottsdale with his "sober coach". Weinstein has denied all the claims.

Contrary to rumors that Weinstein was in Los Angeles during the Golden Globes last week, Weinstein's reps confirmed he was NOT in Hollywood, and was in Arizona the whole time.
