Dark Souls remaster coming to PC, XO, PS4, and Switch

After the surprise announcement of Dark Souls Remastered from Nintendo's mini-direct yesterday, a lot of speculation started about what this new version of From Software's masterpiece would entail. One of the most attractive parts of Dark Souls: Remastered is the graphics, and the game will have its graphics beefed up quite a bit.

As a point of comparison, Dark Souls Remastered will run at 1080p and 60 fps on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X it will be playable on the 4K resolution. Along with that, during Direct event, the game is also confirmed for Nintendo Switch.

On Switch, it will run at a resolution of resolution 1080p at 30fps in TV mode. From their first timid steps to absolute mastery, players build characters by strategically adapting to daunting foes, exploring haunting locations, and amassing a large collection of weapons, armour and magic spells.

According to Forbes, Dark Souls: Remastered will have a similar password matchmaking system that Dark Souls III had.
