The trailer also highlights more than just the Elder Dragons... we also get to see numerous various creatures from the game in glorious eighth-gen quality.

Capcom is squeezing in one last Monster Hunter: World beta before the action RPG charges onto consoles later this month.

You'll note at least three new monsters introduced in the trailer. If you're planning on jumping into Monster Hunter big time, Monster Hunter World will be a great starting point.

The Kushala Daora is a steel dragon that can control storm clouds and is protected by thick metal plates. All PS4 owners are invited to try the game from January 18, through to January 22. In addition to those quests, you'll also be able to fight the game's flagship monster, Nergigante.

Capcom has announced that the Elder Dragons will be a part of the Monster Hunter: World game once it launches. One, named Dodogama, has a unique saliva that causes rock to become explosive.

Not only that, during the Japanese live streaming of the game, Capcom also confirmed there will be regular content updates throughout. The second trailer is a sneak peek at the Deviljho Update, the first of several free patches - featuring new quests, monsters and armor - set to debut in 2018. Players will be able to put their hunting skills to the test against this brute.

Monster Hunter: World is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. "Deviljho must feed constantly and will devour anything in its way, even feeding on the largest of monsters with its massive jowls", Capcom said.
