Brad Pitt bids $120K to watch 'Game of Thrones' with Emilia Clarke

TMZ reports Brad Pitt took part in a silent auction in order to watch an episode of Game of Thrones with series star Emilia Clarke.

Taking place Saturday night in Los Angeles at Sean Penn's annual gala for Haiti, the auction reportedly started at $20,000 and quickly escalated.

Pitt was also unsuccessful in his quest for a painting, getting outbid by Arnold Schwarzenegger by $10,000, WTOP reports. At one point, the auctioneer yelled out "Is the King of the North here?!"

Meanwhile, Pitt bid $80,000 to watch an episode of GoT with Clarke. When Harington offered to also sit in on the episode viewing, Pitt raised his own bid to United States dollars 120,000. In that apparently their thirst will motivate them to do insane things like bid $152,000 (US$120,000) just to spend an evening watching Game of Thrones with one of its sexy stars. [Pitt] later offered $120,000 ($152,700 AUD approx.) and raised his arms in excitement but was out at $150,000 ($190,875 AUD approx.).

Sticking with his predetermined budget, Pitt unfortunately didn't bid again when an anonymous attendee put $160,000 down for the experience.

The event raised $4 million for the J/P HRO & Disaster Relief Organizations including Lin-Manuel Miranda Efforts in Puerto Rico, Waitt Foundation in Antigua/Barbuda, PCI in Houston and Americares in Florida.
