Spencer, 22, flew from NY to Florida to meet his "Words With Friends" buddy Roz, who is 86 years old.

Their friendship began last summer when they squared off on Words With Friends, an online game similar to Scrabble.

Pastor Amy Butler, of the Riverside Church in Manhattan, helped Spencer arrange a trip to Florida to meet Roz, according to the Miami Herald. Find out more in the video above.

After their meeting, Sleyon tweeted these photos of him and Roz.

Still, while they may be all smiles in person, it sounds as though their games are fairly intense, with Spencer showing no signs of going easy on his pal despite being more than six decades her junior.

Spencer was quick to shut down any rumours that Roz may be in the lead when it comes to their Words with Friends battles.

"I was like, yo, how do you know that word?" The meeting was arranged by Amy Butler, a pastor from NY.

Ms Butler said she has used the example of their friendship in sermons, as Spencer is a friend of her daughter's. "Today I got to go to Florida and meet her in person", he wrote.

Words With Friends also called the story "amazing" on Twitter.

Their meeting was made possible by NY pastor Amy Butler, who added: 'Sweet day today with Spencer and his Words With Friends friend, Roz, watching them bond in person for the first time'.
