WWE wrestler Rich Swann arrested following alleged domestic dispute

- Pro wrestler and current WWE superstar Rich Swann was arrested late Saturday night after an argument with his wife escalated and got physical.

According to Gainesville Police, Swann was arguing with his wife, who is also a wrestler. According to the report, Swann was driving a vehicle with Riggs as the passenger, and got into an argument over a match that Riggs had had earlier that night. Another witness claimed she saw Riggs jump out of the vehicle while it was moving.

Riggs exited the auto that Swann was driving, and Swann grabbed her by the neck, leading to Riggs screaming for help and then beating on the vehicle window and trying to exit the vehicle again once he had her back inside.

205 Live's high-flyer Rich Swann has been suspended by WWE following an arrest in Gainesville, FL this morning. He allegedly said that Yung had Global Positioning System on her phone, so he needed her to come back in the vehicle.

Following the incident, Swann was taken into custody by police and remains there as of today. He has been charged with battery and the kidnapping or false imprisonment of an adult. The report goes into full detail as Swann was in an argument with his wife, and his wife wanted to walk away from him.

Swann was scheduled to compete in a number one contender's match for the cruiserweight title on Raw this Monday. He could face up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine if convicted of the kidnapping charge, and a year in jail or probation with a $1,000 fine if convicted of battery.

Swann, a rising star in WWE, has been suspended following the incident as per a zero tolerance domestic violence policy. No attorney is listed in county records.
