"To be honest, I think Francia should be getting this award", Gomez said through tears.

"I feel incredibly lucky", Gomez began.

After posing for photos with her close friend Francia Raisa, Selena talked to Billboard about how she was feeling after receiving a kidney transplant. "That's it. I got to the point where it was life and death".

Yesterday, November 30, in Los Angeles hosted the gala evening, in which Billboard magazine presented its annual awards to women who have achieved success in the music industry.

In over the past month, the public has seen a lot of Selena Gomez's romantic life, from her split from The Weekend to her rekindled bond with Justin Bieber. Selena went on to date The Weeknd (née Abel Tesfaye), but in October this year, she and Justin started spending time together again-he went to her house, they had breakfast, and they went to church together. I'm grateful for that.

As fans will likely recall, Gomez announced the news of her surgery to her fans and followers on Instagram in September and quickly thanked her friend for saving her life. Specifically this year, I would like to thank my fantastic team and my family because they stuck with me through some really hard times. That was it and I didn't want to ask a single person in my life. "Seeing all these women come up here tonight and say these lovely speeches with their awards is so inspiring", she told the crowd, then paying tribute to those who have helped her get to that point.

The honoree said, "How courageous it is that voices are being heard for the first time it's so great and for all the older women that lifted all of us up because I couldn't be here without any of you".

She said, "I don't know how I'll repay it, maybe I'll make an epic album for you guys and everyone else".
