OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition phone launched at Rs 38999

The company has done a great job keeping the Star Wars theme throughout and hence, has even highlighted the box with stickers making it different from the patent OnePlus phone box.

Fans of OnePlus that are waiting for the 5T to arrive in Malaysia will not need to wait very much longer as DirectD has announced on their Facebook page that they are now accepting pre-orders for the phone. There are also 10 special Star Wars wallpapers included (which I am sure will make it onto the various websites before too long). Additionally, Axis Bank debit and credit cards users are eligible for a Rs. 1,500 instant discount on purchase of any OnePlus device including the 5T Star Wars limited edition. The metal back of the device is painted in Crait white with a precise Star Wars logo in Red printed on the back.

According to OnePlus, the Star Wars Limited Edition's back, is inspired by the mineral planet Crait from Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Just like the limited edition OnePlus 5, the limited edition OnePlus 5T also packs same specifications as its original variant. The phone comes with a 6-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by the Qualcomm's high-end processor - Snapdragon 835 which also backs most of the top-line smartphones in market now. Over at the back, the dual-camera system has been revised with a 16MP + 20MP f/1.7 camera combo while the front comes with a 16MP shooter. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 platform, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will be available in only one variant for now and this is the one having 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It is packed with same 3300mAh battery with path breaking Dash Charge and which can fill the full battery from zero to full in just 30 minutes. The smartphone can be unlocked using the rear-facing fingerprint sensor and super fast Face Unlock. The fingerprint sensor in the OnePlus 5T is placed on the rear cover, unlike the OnePlus 5 which has it on the front. The smartphone will be available on Amazon India store,, or OnePlus experience stores in Bangalore and Noida, but that's only until the limited stock lasts starting midnight tonight until December 19.
