Huskies will play Penn State in Fiesta Bowl


Ohio State and ASU both have five Fiesta Bowl wins.

It might not be the College Football Playoffs but the Nittany Lions are still headed to a New Year's Six bowl game.

Penn State: Seventh appearance in the Fiesta Bowl, 48th bowl appearance in school history.

Penn State has never lost in six previous trips to the Fiesta Bowl, though its last appearance was in 1997. Curtis Enis was the offensive player of the game, while Brandon Noble was the defensive player of the game. The Trojans defeated the Cardinal in the Pac-12 championship game Friday night and will play Ohio State in Dallas's Cotton Bowl at 5:30 p.m. December 29.

Washington also came in at No. 12 in the final regular-season coaches poll, in which USC is No. 7, Stanford No. 16 and Washington State No. 21.
