As the day progressed, he found himself on the outside looking in with no chance of making it back after he was kicked off the team. Hoke is Tennessee's interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

On Wednesday, Jennings posted a video on Instagram criticizing the Tennessee football coaching staff with cursing and name calling throughout. Rutherford noted Jennings called Tennessee coaches "liars" and "in it for the paycheck" while asking the school to bring in a "good coach" for the 2018 campaign. "Please, Tennessee send us a great-(expletive) coaching staff". Vols WR Jauan Jennings, the recipient of the Hail Mary pass to beat beat Georgia a year ago, has been dismissed from the team by interim coach Brady Hoke.

"Representing the University of Tennessee football program is a privilege", Volunteers interim coach Brady Hoke said in a statement, per the Tennessean.

Jennings posted two videos to his Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon after the football team's practice, and he didn't hold back. "It's straight (expletive) coaching".

Jennings made 40 receptions for 580 yards and seven touchdowns as a sophomore last season.

Jennings hasn't played since injuring his wrist in a season-opening victory over Georgia Tech.
