The announcement was made via a fancy new trailer at the Tekken World Tour Finals this week, which shows Noctis bringing his magical sword to bear against Tekken's cast of fisticuff-focused fighters. According to the company, "Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV enters the TEKKEN 7 ring!" In fact the group did but you know Noctis is 1 quarter so still counts? The DLC pack will also include a new Final Fantasy XV inspired stage, which takes place in the auto park of a Mini Mart, where a few familiar faces spectate on the action. Noctis fans will be pleased to know then, that they will soon have even more opportunity to spend time as the character.
If there's one place where video game crossovers are rife, it's definitely in the fighting game genre. Noctis gets a call from his old friend Lars, who asks that we defeat some kind of "rampaging beast". You'll have to arm yourself with patience, though, because it'll be a little while until he makes his way to the game.
Noctis is the second DLC character announced for Tekken 7 following the announcement of Geese Howard entering the game from the King of Fighters series.
