The announcement trailer was revealed at Eleague's Injustice 2 World Championships where Ryan "Dragon" Walker took home the trophy and $150,000 (£114k).
Fans of NetherRealms' fighting game Injustice 2 are in for a treat with the Fighter Pack 3 DLC.
Injustice 2 features the DC universe's characters battling it, but having non-DC characters in-game is not unusual for the series. But one thing is for sure, I'm so, so, so glad that their design is based on the puppets from the 1990 live-action movie instead of those horrendous looking CGI monstrosities in Michael Bay's reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
NetherRealm Studios just gave us our first look at the latest newcomers coming to Injustice 2 in the game's Fighter Pack 3 reveal trailer. The heroes in a half-shell are now joining the DC fighting game.
Although not as popular as the Turtles, Atom and the Enchantress are decent choices as well. Leo says "we fight as a team" in the video after Mikey says "dibs on the magic lady", which suggests that they might fight as one single entity. The PC release will include all previously released DLC for the game on the console versions available at purchase. Atom will make his debut on December 12th as part of an early access test, followed by the full release of Injustice 2 on PC starting Novmeber 14th. You'll be able to buy them separately, or if you want all the DLC characters in one sweep you can pick up the Ultimate Edition of the game.
