Teen warriors go exploring in 'A Wrinkle in Time's new spectacular trailer


The film follows 12 Years A Slave star Storm Reid's Meg Murry, who learns her astrophysicist father, played by the famously wooden Chris Pine, is being held captive on a distant planet gripped by evil. The movie is based on L'Engle's 1963 novel.

Ava Durvernay's career as a director started with a bang, directing the critically-acclaimed Selma in 2014 - and while A Wrinkle In Time is extremely different material, it looks like she has created an incredible spectacle.

Meg with her friend and little brother discover the "fifth dimension", that is "outside the rules of time and space".

Following the debut of the first teaser trailer of Incredibles 2 comes the brand new trailer for their big 2018 release A Wrinkle In Time. "Be a warrior", Oprah says, encouraging her on the journey.

The only one that can stop it is Meg.

"A Wrinkle in Time" folds into theaters on March 9 - which, you know, is like tomorrow if you could bend time. Watch the trailer above. The Mrs. Ws narrate the trailer, explaining that they think the Murrays' father is still alive, and that it's up to the children to save him and potentially the world.
