Stephon Marbury and Jimmer Fredette go at it in China

Fredette and Marbury are both former National Basketball Association lottery picks from NY - the former from Upstate and the latter from Brooklyn - but the two point guards took entirely different paths to Chinese stardom.

The duo was facing off during the Shanghai Sharks' 123-119 win against the Beijing Fly Dragons.

Watch the 28-year-old Fredette and 40-year-old Marbury come face-to-face in the video below. Also, how awesome is Fredette's jersey?

This won't be the final highlight he creates, but it could be the last time Fredette and Marbury provide one together. Marbury and Fredette then got chest-to-chest, exchanging verbal jabs. He's averaging over 40 points per game this season and appears well on his way to repeating as the CBA's International MVP Award victor. While they were never teammates, they both played for the New York Knicks at one point.

Fredette finished the game with a triple-double-54 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists-while Marbury had four points, six rebounds, and four assists. The two-time All-Star was the No. 4 overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft.

Jimmer was the leading scorer and International MVP of the league last season; Starbury is a legend in China, with an entire museum constructed in his honor. He spent part of the 2015 season with the Knicks.
