Morgan Goodwin also posted on Instagram that she had to deliver her "precious baby boy early this morning due to pre-term labor". He said of his wife, Morgan Goodwin-Snow, "The pain (physically, mentally, & emotionally) that she has endured is unbelievable".

While 49ers players celebrated their first victory of the season, Goodwin left early to be with family, according to local media. Before he crossed the goal line, Goodwin blew a kiss to the sky, then after scoring, he knelt, praying as the team surrounded him, ESPN reported.

Marquise Goodwin caught an 83-yard touchdown pass that put the team ahead of the New York Giants halfway through the second quarter.

There was every reason 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin should have been rejoicing in the San Francisco lockerroom after Sunday's win.

This wasn't the only big play Goodwin had in the game, as he also produced a big block on tight end Garrett Celek's 47-yard touchdown.

Both Goodwin and his wife attended the University of Texas at Austin and they Wednesday in February of 2016.

Before Sunday's game, Morgan had posted a photo of her husband on Instagram, along with this message: "Lord Jesus, give him strength as he step out on that field today". "Despite our loss, my hubby kept grinding, scored his son a touchdown & got our first "W" of the season". In September, the fifth-year National Football League veteran shared a photo of him and his wife kissing while holding an ultrasound image. This was truly an incredible experience and it was also a tragic experience.
