'Jersey Shore' Is Back With 'Family Vacation' - Minus One Original Star

There's no way of knowing how many people would have actually sat down to watch the premiere of the new show if MTV hadn't teased news about Jersey Shore (but judging from the reactions I'd say not many).

"Jersey Shore" premiered to modest viewership on December 3, 2009 but quickly became a massive ratings draw. Just like the original show, there will be nonstop partying and drinking in the hottest beach in town. Family Vacation will feature Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.

Regardless, the network got fans hyped by dropping a teaser for Jersey Shore Family Vacation during the Monday night premiere for Floribama Shore. The original series was filmed in Seaside Heights.

Jersey Shore initially ran for six seasons on MTV and remains the cable network's highest-rated series of all time. The show will be called Jersey Shore Family Vacation, maybe named as such because some of the cast members, like Snooki and JWOWW, have settled down with their own families at this point.
