Gamers can Play as Aloy in 'Monster Hunter

Monster Hunter: World is launching early next year, but if you're looking to get your sword-skills sharpened up, Capcom has you covered; a beta will be coming to PlayStation 4 owners this December. In fact, players are suggested to "take a moment to note entangled vines, rock formations and even water leaks, as these may be clues for potential natural traps you can use in your hunt".

World PS Plus Beta and Horizon Zero Dawn Special Collaboration Gear for PS4. In addition to brand new footage of the Rotten Vale, Sony announced the PS4 exclusive armor and weapon set based on Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.

All of this and more can be seen in Arekkz's breakdown above. Equipping the full armor set will make your character look just like Aloy, facial likeness and all. It's gonna be a wild ride, Monster Hunters! After completing the Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration event quest, which is planned to be distributed to online players post launch, special materials can be obtained to forge collaboration equipment. That's why Capcom is collaborating with the makers of Horizon Zero Dawn to introduce Aloy's bow and armor, along with machine armor for Felyne companion Palico. Rotten Vale will be a land of unique and huge creatures awaits amongst this bed of bones, that will be littered with the skeletons of deceased monsters. With drop in multiplayer, each hunter has their own story to tell - but will they live to tell it?
