The other MyInfinity postpaid plans from Airtel are available in denominations of Rs 399, Rs 499, Rs 649, Rs 799 and Rs 999.
The network also offers unlimited data at 4G speed for 91 days with a FUP of 1GB per day and free voice call to all networks (local+STD+roaming) for a recharge of Rs 499. The pack comes with 1GB of 3G/ 4GB data per day, unlimited local and STD calls, free outgoing calls on roaming, and 3,000 bundled SMSes. Now, the company is back with a new long-term data and voice combo plan for its prepaid subscribers. This data is offered by Airtel with a cap of 1GB per day.
Airtel offers free voice calls to local and STD numbers. That is 250 minutes a day and 1000 minutes a week. Once the limit is exhausted, then users will be charged 30 paise per minute. The data plan offers 100 SMS per day and 125GB data without any daily Fair User Policy (FUP).
This Rs 448 plan is accessible for select prepaid clients as it were.
What do you think about these new plans from Airtel? Also, if it is, you should go to the MyAirtel app on your mobile and recharge with Rs 448. However, looks like Jio leads in different angles like calling and SMS features. To counter Reliance Jio's prepaid plans that offer free outgoing calls and practically unlimited internet data for dirt cheap prices, Airtel has been updating and rolling out prepaid plans to not only stay relevant in the changing telecom landscape but also to give the Mukesh Ambani-led company, Jio, a run for money.
The Rs 357 plan promises prepaid subscribers unlimited calls including local and STD, as well as nationwide roaming for 28 days.
To review, Jio's Rs 399 plan has been redone as of late. This plan from Airtel can finally compete with the offerings of Jio as it now includes 100 free SMS per day which was the only major difference in the offerings of the two companies.
The "Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan" scheme of Reliance Jio provides 84 GB data and unlimited calling for 84 days.
