"He's brought us to the brink of nuclear war, obstructed justice at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and, in direct violation of the Constitution, has taken money from foreign governments and threatened to shut down news organizations that report the truth", Steyer says in his ad, part of a multimillion-dollar campaign urging Americans to petition members of Congress to impeach Trump.

President Donald Trump blasted Tom Steyer on Friday as "wacky" and "totally unhinged", presumably after seeing the left-wing billionaire's ad on "Fox and Friends" calling for his impeachment.

"He's brought us to the brink of nuclear war, obstructed justice at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and in direct violation of the Constitution, he's taken money from foreign governments and threatened to shut down news organizations that report the truth", Steyer says in the ad.

On the site, Steyer writes, "He has threatened to reduce aid for millions of American citizens in Puerto Rico who are struggling to survive without drinkable water or electricity, a move that would be a total dereliction of his duty".

Trump is using Twitter to call Tom Steyer "wacky & totally unhinged". Trump tweeted early Friday.

An aide to Steyer told Forbes that the television ad buy would be accompanied by a multi-million dollar digital advertising campaign.

Congressional Democrats like Reps. We need to impeach this unsafe president. He is also a staunch supporter of many liberal causes, such as the fight against climate change.
