The new Justice League trailer drops, highlighting the heroes and teasing Superman

In the past few weeks, they've released a variety of gorgeous new character movie posters and behind-the-scenes production stills that have highlighted each team member individually and showed different pairs interacting with one another.

Given the track record of Warner Bros.' DC Extended Universe, you would think that Justice League was a make-or-break blockbuster that would decide the fate of the studio and this shared superhero continuity.

As we see in the trailer, Superman comes in Lois Lane's Dream. After apparently dying in Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, it appears he's not only returned, he's ready to marry Lois. This includes a director change, with Joss Whedon taking over for Zack Snyder.

Sounding like a superfan at New York Comic Con, the Flash (Ezra Miller) geeks out over the sight of the Bat signal: "That's so cool!" Many of DC's motion pictures in the past few years have had bad reviews, with its most successful one being the Wonder Woman film that I enjoyed. Yet things have been quiet on the Justice League front lately. Like in the other cut of the trailer, Aquaman (Jason Momoa) seems doubtful of the team as well, telling Bruce, "Strong men are strongest alone".

"Marvel have the Avengers, but wait 'til you see DC's Justice League team-up to take down the forces of evil".

The final "Justice League" trailer is finally here. A newly awakened threat is causing trouble for the planet and the pair quickly realise they'll need the help of all the metahumans they have information on if they're to stand any chance of defeating them.

Over the weekend, the Justice League Twitter announced there would be a trailer that debuts on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 9:00 a.m. ET. The movie will hit cinemas on November 17.
