Rick & Morty Co-Creator Responds As McDonald's Apologizes For Szechuan Sauce Shortages

According to Huffington Post, some lucky ones have not hesitated to sell $ 10 the nugget is dipped in the sauce, legendary.

So, the company made this promise: "Szechuan Sauce is coming back once again this winter".

When limited supplies of both the sauce ran out at many locations Saturday afternoon, Szechuan aficionados took to social media to express their frustration.

If you're not among the few who scored some of McDonald's rare Szechuan sauce, you may be in luck.

Fans of both the show and hot sauce were outraged Saturday when they descended upon their local McDonald's in search of Szechuan Sauce for McNuggets and came away empty handed.

McDonald's resurrected a limited-run promotional item, Szechuan dipping sauce, over the weekend to play off the condiment's popularity on the animated comedy series "Rick and Morty", where the titular mad scientist Rick Sanchez is obsessed with it. "Technology is wonderful. But delivering for our customers is better still", said McDonald's Chef Michael Haracz.

Reading the actual tweet, it's not clear when the sauce will be available and whether it will be available at all restaurants.

Given the number of disappointed, Mcdonald's has apologised to customers who had not had the chance to taste the return of the famous " Szechuan ".

Fans of the show pleaded with McDonald's to bring the sauce back.

You spoke. We've listened.

The Sooner state was one of those left out of the one-day promotion of Szechuan sauce available in limited quantities at limited numbers of restaurants across the nation.

McDonald's responded and said their "super limited batch, though well-intended, clearly wasn't near enough to meet the demand". "We agree. So we're gonna make this right".

So Rick and Morty fans who did not get their sauce probably should just wait a couple of months rather than spend $1,000 to get it now. In the last 24 hours, we've worked to open any portal necessary.
