The Super Eagles training camp in Uyo is sparkling with stars ahead of Saturday's crucial World Cup qualifier against Zambia as skipper John Mikel Obi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and 14 other players have already reported.

Zambia has done surprisingly well in these qualifiers, now second in Group B with seven points, just three points back of Nigeria in first.

The statement added: "The president joins millions of football-loving Nigerians in rejoicing with the players and their coaching crew of Super Eagles".

Emmanuel Babayaro urges the Super Eagles to be wary of Zambia as they have a go at World Cup 2018 qualification at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday. He believes that despite the fine form of the three times African champions, Zambia can pull the plug off the feet of the home side.

They didn't start well, and now Nigeria have taken the lead in the group, so how can they qualify? Similarly, it took Cameroon until today to pick up their first win of the group stage as they won 2-0 against Algeria. As far as I'm concerned, we've collected the World Cup ticket and we are going to Russian Federation next year.

Zambia have mounted pressures on Nigeria until Iwobi came in as a substitute in the second half to change the pace of the game.

Rohr has already hinted the FC Ifeanyiubah shot stopper should keep his place particularly after he was voted the best goalkeeper at the recent WAFU Cup in Ghana.
