Mysterious 'Google Clips' device leaked ahead of big announcement

There had already been plenty of rumours that Google was planning to launch a new music device and this tweet could confirm it's called the Home Mini.

A recent Google Pixel 2 leak has already exposed numerous features which include the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a new 12-megapixel camera and stereo speakers.

Thankfully, Walmart has provided that today, after mistakenly listing its pre-order page for the Google Home Mini smart speaker, that should also get unveiled tomorrow. While the Google Pixel 2 will come with 5-inch Full HD Display.

There are also rumors that the search mammoth will completely ditch the audio jack port in favor and to take advantage of the USB-C technology. Google Home Mini expected to be no different than its older sibling as far as basic functionalities are concerned. It doesn't seem any other Pixelbook details were leaked through the reseller. This version is expected to be a successor to the Google Home with better features like stereo speakers.

Coming to the pricing, Pixel 2 is expected to be priced at $650/$750 while the Pixel 2 XL is expected to be priced at $850/$950. It appears that Google is gearing up to take against the Amazon and release at least one new Home model during the October 4 event.

We thought Google Pixel 2 will be bezel-less but it has bezels on all sides.

The Pixelbook will start at $1,199 and go up to $1,749. It is said to be available in Chalk White, Charcoal Black, and Coral Red color variants.

The listing also reveals the codename of Google Home Mini "joplin".
