Brady says his shoulder is OK

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed practice Tuesday due to a reported left shoulder injury, although the team did not provide a reason for the reigning Super Bowl MVP's absence. Brady injured his left (non-throwing) shoulder Thursday in a win over the Buccaneers. The injury is not expected to sideline Brady for Sunday's tilt against their division rival.

"I'm good. I'm not anxious about", Brady said Wednesday at his press conference.

Fortunately, Rapoport also stated that Brady would not miss Week 6 against the New York Jets.

"Not for me", he said.

The Jets, Patriots, and Buffalo Bills all sit atop the AFC East with 3-2 records.

Even though Brady received a MRI, it didn't concern him. The quarterback hit total is the most he'd ever been hit in his first five games of a season.

According to National Football League stats, Brady has been sacked 16 times so far this season and hit 33 times. Brady has looked largely like his old self in 2017, but at 40 years old injuries tend to take on a greater significance regardless of how transcendently healthy one appears to be.

Brady was hit 19 times and sacked nine times in three playoff games.
