Liverpool made their stance clear when they rejected Coutinho's transfer request and rebuffed Barcelona's bids of £72 million, £90.3m and £118m. In the same deal, Coutinho also positively received option of him to keep playing with Liverpool in the Champions League although later he will be a cup-tie status with Barcelona.
