Spotify Premium for Students, now with Hulu, as the plan has been called, combines Spotify's paid on-demand music service with Hulu's basic paid on-demand video tier, referred to by the company as its "limited commercials" plan. In today's announcement, both companies signal this is one of additional bundled offers to come from the two streaming partners, targeting broader audiences. Spotify's student plan is already $4.99 monthly, so you're basically getting Hulu tossed in for free. And as you begin to shell out all your hard-earned summer job earnings on school supplies, take solace in the fact that Spotify just made Hulu and chilling a whole lot cheaper for students. Added Tim Connolly, senior vp and head of distribution and partnerships at Hulu, "by bundling our enormous catalogues of content toether in a single, highly compelling offer, we're making it easier for people to enjoy all of hte TV and music they love, whenever and wherever they want".
Once a customer's undergraduate status is verified, they will have access to the bundle rate for 12 months, at which point they will need to once again prove that they are students to re-up.

Spotify Premium for Students now include Hulu for just $4.99. Comcast Corp, the largest USA cable provider, offers a special cable package to students at about 100 campuses. Those who already are subscribed to Spotify Premium for Students will simply have to switch their subscription on the Spotify app.
Spotify, which in late July announced that it hit 60 million paid subscribers, stands to see its subscriber count climb even higher as it attempts a direct listing on the New York Stock Exchange before year's end.
