Yesterday, Nike introduced its new line of "NBA Connected" jerseys for NBA teams and players.

Julius Randle represented the Los Angeles Lakers wearing a purple uniform.

"The color black is a nod to the historic turning point in the 2016 NBA Finals when the Cavs wore their black-sleeved uniforms in Games 5 and 7 of the NBA Finals on their way to winning their first NBA Championship and Cleveland's first major sports title in 52 years". The big question is, how big an National Basketball Association fan are you?

The smart jerseys will also provide Nike with more pointed information as to who is buying what jersey as well as where they're checking in from. To unlock it all, fans will download the NikeConnect app and tap the jersey with their smartphone.

At the event, Nike had a representative player from every team come out in a hoodie to hide the new jerseys. Content includes pregame arrival footage, highlight packages and top players' favorite music playlists. Celebrating the style of the game, Nike designers refreshed a beloved apparel staple into a new performance product for athletes on and off the court.

The Nike NBA Connected Jerseys, as well as the will release worldwide on September 29 at the NBAstore.com, while making their debut on-court alongside the jacket on September 20th.

All Statement Edition jerseys will be available at retail on November 20, and will begin being worn on-court on November 25.
