Jennifer Lawrence discusses role in new film 'Mother!'

Jennifer plays the wife of Javier Bardem's character in the movie, which was written and directed by her real-life boyfriend Darren Aronofsky, 48. Having noticeably kept their distance on the red carpet, the duo were suddenly arm in arm at the NY screening and happy to.

Talk of her taking a break comes after Savannah pointed out that Jennifer has been making movies every year since 2010. The 27-year-old kept a noticeable distance from the 48-year-old, but they finally made a decision to come together and pose for a few snaps while walking the red carpet at the NY screening. However, with tomorrow's wide release of mother!, Lawrence could break that ignoble record. She even joked about taking up pottery. "And finding a more sort of vulnerable, softer part of myself that I think I had been like covering up or shoving away for a long time", Lawrence said.

"I'm taking [a break]". But it's all too often a hateful, deliberately incomprehensible experience, and altogether about as pretentious as, well, most of Darren Aronofsky's other movies.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph newspaper, she said: "The day The Hunger Games came out was a freaky one for me because I wasn't famous 24 hours earlier and I got up to go about my day as usual and went to the grocery store".

Jennifer Lawrence is now promoting her latest film Mother! and in an interview with E! "I was such a huge fan of all his work", the star said of the "Requiem for a Dream" and "Black Swan" helmer.

And, Jennifer Lawrence topped it all off by wearing a floor-length, off-white custom Christian Dior dress, with flowers nestled in her hair. "The Batmobile - I wanted to be a Lincoln Continental with two bus engines in it". "It's an assault. It's really assaulting", she said. I was like: we're going to shoot in East Detroit and East New York.

"I was always like; why can't we make a more lower-budget rated-R (movie), just like in comics you have different brands... and now they're finally doing that", he shrugged.
