Activision and Sledgehammer Games have left the futuristic Call of Duty era behind and gone back to the roots of the series with a game focusing on World War 2. Players who pre-ordered Call of Duty: WWII on PS4 at participating retailers can jump into the first of two consecutive weekends of testing, now through Monday, August 28.
Be as sneaky or as brutal as you like - and if it's awesome enough, the winning footage will be featured in a video and advert on site!
Call of Duty: WWII's beta is out now on PlayStation 4 and will run throughout the rest of the weekend.

Where the base PS4 version of Call of Duty WWII will be rendered in a resolution ranging from 960×1080 to 1920×1080, figures that are frankly quite impressive (at least as far as the upper limit is concerned). Beta participants will be immersed in epic World War II battles.
Divisions - Enlist in the Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Armored, or Mountain Division.
Modes - Fan-favorite modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint. You are not limited to any one Division, and we encourage you to try them all!
At level 21, players can choose to unlock the S-Mine 44 lethal grenade, and the Energetic basic training option becomes available at level 23. This has been replaced with a take on Overwatch's famous "Play of the Game".
