A hugely popular Netflix show has just confirmed a second season

Thier original shows and films are becoming extremely popular and one show that seemed to really win the hearts of viewers was GLOW.

The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling will be back for another round in the ring after all. While many aspects of GLOW live on in some of the more cartoonish aspects of today's wrestling leagues, the league failed to attract a wide audience and only lasted four seasons. Netflix announced the news Thursday on Twitter, along with a promise of "more glitz" and "more glam" in GLOW Season 2, according to a report from Deadline, Season 2 of the all-female wrestling show will be 10 episodes long. Season 1 received generally positive reviews from critics, with many praising the large cast of diverse, complicated female characters.

Its ratty mid-80s Los Angeles of motels and skate punks feels specific and lived in. Alison Brie (Community, Sleeping With Other People) stars, along with Betty Gilpin (Nurse Jackie, True Story) and Marc Maron (Almost Famous, Marc Maron: Thinky Pain).

Coming from co-creators Liz Flahive ("Nurse Jackie") and Carly Mensch ("Weeds") and executive producer Jenji Kohan ("Orange is the New Black"), "GLOW" told a ficitionalized account of the real-life women's professional wrestling division of the 1980s, GLOW or The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.
