Cristiane 'Cyborg' Justino vs. Tonya Evinger Set for UFC 214

The announcement was made late Tuesday night when Brett Okamoto of ESPN announced that badgirl Tonya Evinger will fill in for Anderson who is out due to "personal reasons".

The UFC featherweight championship is vacant after inaugural champion Germaine de Randamie was stripped of her title for refusing to agree to defend her title for the first time against Justino.

Cyborg and Evinger will meet for the vacant UFC featherweight title in the co-main event.

Originally expected to face Invicta FC featherweight champion Megan Anderson, Justino is now slated to fight Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger, the promotion announced Wednesday. Cyborg held the title previously. Kunitskaya looks to rebound after back-to-back fights against Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger. With that off, Milana Dudieva and Mara Romero Borella are now the main event.

Invicta FC is now looking to replace Evinger, seeking an opponent for Ukranian featherweight Helena "Pretty" Kolesnyk (5-0, 1 NC). The Brazilian star's overall record now stands at 17-1 with one no contest. She is considered one of the most unsafe female fighters in MMA today. Long seen as the most dominant female fighter on the planet, Cyborg made her UFC debut in May of previous year, defeating Leslie Smith via first-round TKO.

As for "Cyborg", she is undoubtedly the most dominant female fighter in MMA, having won 19 of her 20 career fights, including 17 by way of T/KO. UFC 214 will take place from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on July 29.

UFC 214 is headlined by UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and former champion Jon Jones in what will settle the score for the light heavyweight division once and for all.
