Victoria Beckham receives OBE from Prince William

Prince William presided the ceremony at the Buckingham Palace in London, the Duke of Cambridge made an OBE one of the stylish ladies in the UK, Victoria Beckham.

She has launched collaborations with Estée Lauder for a Victoria Beckham make-up collection, and with U.S. retailer Target for an affordable clothing collection, due to go on sale this spring.

After being awarded the title, Victoria said: "It was an absolute pleasure to be at Buckingham Palace today". Last month, Beckham launched her 200-piece collaboration with Target and has created two capsule collections with Estée Lauder.

Nothing more posh than that - just ask Victoria Beckham.

"I'm proud to be British", she said in a statement.

The Spice Girl wore a floor-length black dress and high purple heels for the occasion.

"If you dream big and work hard you can accomplish great things", she added.

Thus, Beckham family has now two OBE medals, David received his own in 2004 for his services to British football. She works so hard and really deserves this honour. And this isn't her first time rubbing shoulders with British royalty.

"Meeting the Queen - it doesn't get better than that".

While Victoria's four children; Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and Harper, five, were not in attendance, her eldest praised his mother with a heartfelt message on social media earlier in the day.

Heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill will be made a dame during the ceremony, while Academy and Tony award-winning actor Mark Rylance will be knighted for his services to theatre.
