Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday called the U.S. strike "aggression against a sovereign state in violation of the norms of worldwide law".

Syria's ally Russian Federation accused the U.S. of encouraging "terrorists" with its unilateral actions.
The comments from Tillerson and Haley suggested that the airstrikes Trump ordered punishing Assad for using chemical weapons would not lead to any immediate change in USA strategy toward Syria.
