NFL Draft 2017: Buffalo Bills 'very serious' about drafting QB at 10

So it wouldn't be surprising to find out that those teams in search of a quarterback are looking to move some picks or get out of the top 10. It has them grabbing a defensive back with their 1 round pick and addressing some offensive needs later in the draft.

He led the Seahawks to the playoffs in his first season as starter but lasted just one more year in Seattle before moving on to Cincinnati.

Whether that's LSU safety, Jamal Adams, Clemson quarterback, Deshaun Watson, or even North Carolina quarterback, Mitch Trubisky. The Bears could try to move down, but it's a bit more likely they keep the pick. A team that craves Garrett may well be willing to make the move up. Sure, there's a lot of wheeling and dealing once you hit the second and third days from generally everyone, but this is more about Chicago going for home runs.

All the really good quarterbacks seem to have a really good tight end. In another rebuilding year, it may be too early for this front office to commit to a first-round quarterback.

Such skills are precisely what San Francisco is looking for with the switch to the new 4-3 under scheme. There was a lot of smoke pointing NY to Floyd with the tenth pick and Pace wasn't going to take that chance on a player he liked a lot slipping away. If they feel like they'd need a move up from 12 to get the quarterback, the extra pick or picks acquired for the first overall pick would help the cause. We highlighted him as a potential second-round pick.

There's a solid chance Thomas goes No. 2 to the 49ers.

The Browns could garner an extra pick (or two), draft Thomas and then be able to take their quarterback with the 12th pick. This trait showed up on both dink-and-dunk tosses and downfield throws, as Trubisky ranked seventh in short pass off-target percentage (3.3 on aerials thrown 10 or fewer yards downfield) and sixth in vertical off-target percentage (15.3 on targets traveling 11 or more yards downfield).

On a brighter note, let's take a look at the quarterbacks that may buck the trend and fit with Buffalo in this years draft.
