Easter Sunday, April 16, church worship service is at 11 a.m. with the choir singing two special anthems.

St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Marysville, will have Holy Thursday service at 8 p.m.

First Presbyterian, 203 N. Spring St., Bellefonte - Good Friday service 7 p.m. Easter Egg Hunt for children age 4 through grade 6 Saturday April 15, 10 a.m.to noon. Interested residents should meet on the steps of the First Congregational Church at 36 Main St. Good Friday, April 14, 7 p.m., Proper Liturgy of Good Friday. Join friends at the Masonic Lodge to enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and juice, 8 to 10:30 a.m. The service will be a family service, and childcare will not be available.

For the past 10 years the Baptist Church has hosted this free family event in Waring Gardens on Easter Sunday morning.

MIDDLEPORT - The Middleport Church of Christ's choir will be presenting the Easter cantata "Salvation's Story" at 7 a.m. Organizers say the Isabella VFW is one of only a handful that still put on an Easter egg hunt, and the Isabella post's egg hunt was recently featured in the national VFW magazine. They are identical services, same sermon, same music, same everything.

Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, Lock Haven - Good Friday: 3 p.m. service and 7 p.m. Stations of the Cross, both at St. Agnes Church/ Holy Saturday: Lighting of the Easter fire at 8:30 p.m.at St. Agnes Church to begin the Easter Vigil, during which catechumens and candidates are received into the church.

"How To Cultivate Peace in an Angry World" is the topic of a special Bible talk at 10 a.m. April 16 at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall. The public is cordially invited to attend all services. Children 10-and-under are invited to bring a flashlight and gather eggs Friday at 8:15 p.m.at Butte Park, 1245 N.W. St. John Baptist Church on Hughes Road in Red Top will hold its sunrise service at 6 a.m. Outdoor sunrise service at Choptank Marina at 6:30 a.m. No service at 9:30 a.m. Good Friday service, April 14, 7 p.m. The church will stage an Easter passion play at 6 p.m. The service also offers Holy Communion and ends with the Stripping of the Altar. Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in New Smyrna Beach will host its Easter egg hunt on Saturday from noon until 2 p.m.

Tuttle's Grove United Methodist Church will hold an Easter sunrise service at 10:30 a.m. A service of Tenebrae, a solemn candlelit Communion service remembering the Last Supper and Jesus' passion and death.

Easter is Sunday, and a wide variety of Easter egg hunts, Easter services and other events are planned around the county. A sunrise Easter service will be held at 7 a.m., followed by an Easter procession at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds will benefit St. Stephen's youth ministry and The World Service Fund. Admission is free. Easter worship 10 a.m.

Newport Baptist Church will hold an Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. on the church grounds on Chatham Street. Worship will be at 9 a.m. Easter sunrise service will be at 6:45 a.m.at Country Club Lake. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m., and worship service will be held at 11 a.m. Participants of the service will include clergy from the Belfast Greater Bay Area Ministerium (GBAM) churches.

The River of Life Church of Volusia, will host a sunrise service at 7 a.m.at 139 Garfield Road, Deltona.
