Gorillaz announce their first North American tour in 7 years

It's been 7 years since Gorillaz have done any sort of touring, so that's why today's announcement that the band is playing the Fox Theatre during a huge North American tour is so exciting. The tour will feature prominent performances with appearances at music festivals such as Outside Lands in San Francisco, Meadows in New York, Life is attractive in Las Vegas, and III Points in Miami. The good news is, despite the brief schedule, five of the stops are festival dates, including Outside Lands in San Francisco and New York's Meadows Music & Arts Fest, so you'll arguably have a better chance of catching Gorillaz there before tickets are sold out.

Check out the Gorillaz's as-yet-announced tour schedule below, followed by their latest Humanz teaser, "Let Me Out" featuring Pusha T and Mavis Staples.

It's the group's first North American tour in seven years and it's scheduled to hit Duluth Oct. 11.
