Walton scored 26 points and logged 11 assists, and scored a key bucket late in the game to force Oklahoma State to foul to prolong the game. Stewart led the way with 22 points.

A pair of clutch D.J. The Jayhawks are looking to uphold their No. 1 seed and advance to another Sweet 16. Game time is yet to be determined.

11 The Wolverines won this game on the back of their 11 second-half 3-pointers, which came on just 15 attempts.

After coasting in the second half and grasping a 100-62 victory over University of California-Davis on Friday evening, the Midwest No. 1 seed Jayhawks (29-4) advanced to play a program that looks a lot like them.

Juwan Evans scored 23 points and Jeffrey Carroll had 19 to lead Oklahoma State (20-13), but the nation's eighth-highest scoring team just couldn't keep up with Michigan's 3-point barrage.

MI led 41-40 following a fast-paced first half. Izzo, in his 22nd-year as MSU's head coach, owns a 7-5 all-time mark against Self, including a 4-2 record against his Jayhawks, a 2-3 mark when Self was at IL and a win over Self's Tulsa team in 1998. MI answered loudly, asserting its long-range prowess for one of the great storylines of the tournament. After playing Walton for the entire first half, Beilein quickly made the shift to Xavier Simpson as Derrick Walton limped off the floor with some sort of knee burn or ankle injury.

The game served as a good warm-up practice for Sunday, as Kansas hasn't played a game in 8 days after a surprisingly early conference tournament exit.

But even with Michigan's flexibility, height advantage in the frontcourt and recent stretch of success, Walton said it's no time to become complacent.

OSU again showed why it was one of the best offensive teams in the tournament, converting a layup and a timely second chance triple from Leyton Hammonds to make it 76-73.

Zak Irvin has been locked in and he played another great game on Friday. Miami is averaging 69.4 points per game on offense this season while allowing 63.7 on defense. They missed their final two 3s.

Wilson finished with 19 points (6-12 FG, 6-6 FT), five rebounds and four blocked shots. On Oklahoma State's side, Evans has been equally dominate, averaging about 20 points and seven assists since mid-January. The Aggies made 6 of 14 3-pointers before the break to counter Baylor's 55 percent shooting. MI committed just four turnovers all day, continuing its nation-low turnover ratio.

"Definitely was tough on all of us", MI senior forward Zak Irvin said. Freshman Nick Ward adds 13.7 points and 6.5 boards per game.

Miami (21-12) exited in the first round for the first time in three trips to the NCAA Tournament under coach Jim Larranaga. "And so switching was going to - you know, they were the third percentile in the country in post-ups".
