ASU graduate programs rank among nation's best


Earlier this year, the USD's online Master of Education program was ranked No. 22 in the U.S. News & World Report "Best Online Graduate Education Programs".

Florida State's school library media program ranked No. 1 in the nation for the fifth year, and its services for children and youth program ranked 7th nationally.

Cornell Law School ranked 13th overall for the fifth straight year.

The Law School fell to No. 106 with an overall score of 37, tied with Catholic University of America and Drake University.

Nuclear engineering is seventh in the country.

Business specialties: accounting (5), entrepreneurship (6), executive MBA (6), finance (9), global (7), management (5), marketing (5), part-time MBA (6), production/operations (3), and supply chain/logistics (4).

UC San Diego's Division of Social Sciences departments in political science (ranked 9th) economics (ranked 12th) and psychology (ranked 13th) were lauded as some of the top programs in the nation.

U.S. News & World Report ranks professional schools and graduate programs based on expert opinions about programs' excellence and data that measure the quality of faculty, research and students.

U.S. News does not rank all programs each year. Wake Forest accountancy graduates rank first for all test takers among large and medium sized schools, earning this ranking thirteen times since the School began offering a MS in Accountancy degree in 1997, more than any other university during the same time period.

Rutgers-Newark was the highest-rated New Jersey college in both, tying for No. 20 among master's programs and ranking No. 18 among doctoral programs. "They continue to benefit as we maintain our focus on them and our ability to deliver the highest quality MBA education possible".

The law school rankings were released as law schools across the nation are struggling with declining numbers of people who want to be lawyers. U.S. News and World Report also features the material in its Best Graduate Schools 2018 publication, available in bookstores April 11. It also sent out reputation surveys to about 16,500 academics and professionals in late 2016 and early 2017.

CWRU continued as the top medical research school in the state, again ranking 25th.

Psychology specialties: behavioral neuroscience (1), development psychology (2), experimental psychology (1), and social psychology (2).
